Amy Barnes
Director of Workforce Development
Amy spent her childhood in the small Mississippi town of Inverness before moving to
Corinth, Mississippi, for her senior year of high school. After graduating, she pursued her
education at NEMCC and UNA.
Presently, Amy and her husband, Johnny, are active members of Oakland Baptist Church, where they serve on several outreach committees, such as Embrace Grace, Sheltering
Tree, and the Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief. In 2024, Amy retired from her 35-year career as a Human Resource Manager in the manufacturing industry. She now dedicates her time to being a full-time mom to her two fur babies, Toni Leigh and Max. Together with Johnny, Amy enjoys serving the Lord and traveling.
Amy is passionate about sharing the greatness of Jesus, cooking, and serving others.
She is honored to take on the role of Workforce Development at the Home of El Roi and looks forward to supporting the moms while also sharing her testimony with them. Amy’s motivating mantra is: “Just one more for the Kingdom….Just one more!”
