Christy’s passion for women’s recovery comes from her own struggle with addiction. Clean and sober since July 2014, she knows how hard it is to overcome life-controlling behaviors and substance abuse. Through her addiction, Christy was jailed, lost custody of both her children, and thought her marriage was ruined, but God! 

 

Christy describes her story simply like this, “I found salvation in jail, the meaning of marriage after adultery, the blessing of having my children after losing them, and the freedom of sobriety after the bondage of addiction. I serve an amazing God, and I am so thankful that He is in the business of making all my past sinful decisions into a testimony of His Grace. I used to be a convicted felon, and now I’m a Nurse. Because He did it for me, I know He can do it for anyone!”
