Karissa was born and raised in North Mississippi and says she has the accent to prove it. She holds a master’s degree in social work and has over 12 years of experience working with children and families, including advocacy and medical social work. Karissa’s work is rooted in compassion and a deep commitment to helping others feel seen, valued, and supported.

 

As a Christ-centered leader, Karissa is passionate about creating a space where healing and restoration can take place.  She is also a devoted mother of two, and her faith guides both her personal life and work.
