Steve moved to Corinth from the Memphis area in 2024 after becoming a widower and, although he didn’t grow up here, he has long-standing family ties to Alcorn County. His new bride, Rebecca, is a dental hygienist who enjoys volunteering at Home of El Roi, and his son, Joseph, is a Forestry grad student at Mississippi State University. 

 

Steve has made a career out of fundraising, having served for 20 years as the director of development for Memphis Union Mission, the city’s largest and oldest rescue ministry. He now works remotely for a marketing agency in Southern California that helps nonprofits raise money across the country. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, hunting, fishing, and hiking. He and Rebecca have set a goal of getting their scuba diving certification together this year.

 

Steve is a member of First Presbyterian Church and is passionate about supporting ministries that help men and women rebuild their lives and experience freedom in Christ.
